Find Medina County Court Calendar

Start with the court handling the case, since Medina County spreads its court calendar across several offices rather than one central list. The case record, the court's own schedule, and the clerk's contact information each hold a piece. One caution matters here. A date can change, and an old printout may still sit in the file history after a reset. Check the current Medina County court calendar source for your case type, then confirm anything uncertain directly with the court. The calendar shows the hearing; the local case docket carries the fuller record and what happens after.

The Medina County Court Calendar

Medina County publishes no single all-court calendar. A hearing might surface in a Common Pleas case record, in Odyssey Search Hearings, on a judge's daily call schedule, through Medina Municipal Benchmark, on Wadsworth's local schedule and record search, via the Probate online-docket route, or on a Brunswick citation. Which source fits depends on the court and the case type.

When a date is uncertain, work through this order. Start with the latest event in the case record. Then check the court's published schedule, the courtroom or clerk line, and the clerk counter if questions remain. Ohio offers no statewide individual-case calendar that would replace these Medina County sources.

Medina County Court Calendar Portal

The Medina County Odyssey Portal gives the public two ways in. Smart Search covers court records. Search Hearings covers hearings within a date range you set. For a Common Pleas case, you might know the case number and still need the hearing date. Search Hearings is the right starting point.

The portal runs on the county's unified Odyssey system. It serves the Clerk, the Common Pleas divisions, Probate/Juvenile, and Domestic Relations. Do not assume it holds Medina Municipal, Wadsworth Municipal, or Brunswick Mayor's Court cases. Pick the court that actually maintains the case first. Do not treat Search Hearings as a statewide calendar.

Medina County Court 3A Schedule

Courtroom 3A's Daily Court Schedules stand apart as their own calendar source. The page shows a view for a specific date plus a downloadable call schedule. It works best right before a hearing, because a daily schedule tells you more than a general note that a case has a future date.

Daily call schedule fieldWhat it confirms
Court and judgeThe Court 3A setting context.
Date and start timeWhen the listed call begins.
Case numberThe local case identifier to compare with the docket.
Hearing typeLabels such as video arraignment, change of plea, sentencing, or jury trial.
Attorney columnCalendar context only; it is not a full case docket.

Court 3A lists 330-725-9731 for direct contact. Refresh the daily schedule near the hearing date, then call the court if a late change or any doubt remains.

How to Find Your Court Date

Follow the court-specific path before trusting a past notice. Common Pleas cases run through Odyssey and the judge's calendar. Medina Municipal cases use Benchmark. Wadsworth offers a local public-records route plus a weekly schedule. Brunswick's citation and Mayor's Court system carry their own date information. For in-person help, the clerk counter is the fallback. Call ahead. The clerk does not publish a list of public terminals for portal help or file inspection.

  1. Check the latest event in the online case record for the court that holds the case.
  2. For Common Pleas, use Search Hearings and the relevant judge's published schedule.
  3. For Medina Municipal, Wadsworth, or Brunswick matters, use that court's separate local system.
  4. Call the handling court or courtroom administrator if the portal does not return a result or the date looks changed.
  5. Use the clerk counter during posted business hours for a direct records or calendar request; use Archives for older Common Pleas material.

Ohio has no statewide individual-case calendar to fall back on. The Supreme Court's eStats tool reports aggregate court statistics, not a Medina County court date or an individual case file.

Medina County Court 3B Lines

Common Pleas Court 3B splits its direct lines by subject. The Court 3B page routes criminal questions to the Court Administrator/Bailiff at 330-725-9736. Civil and jury questions go to the administrative assistant or jury commissioner at 330-725-9735.

The split matters. Court 3A posts a public daily schedule. Common Pleas courtrooms do not each have one. The case docket may not resolve a setting. Court 3B's direct contacts are the documented way to check.

Medina County Municipal Court Move

Medina Municipal Court is in the middle of an address change. Calendar readers need to plan around it. The former site at 135 N. Elmwood Avenue stops operating after September 16, 2026. Limited operations run September 17 through September 27. Hearings on or after September 28, 2026 take place at 223 E. Washington Street. The building sits in Medina.

Let the hearing date decide the building, not an old address printed on a citation. The court's general number is 330-723-3287. Traffic/Criminal is option 3. The official relocation notice lays out the full date-based transition.

The move changes where a Medina Municipal setting is held, nothing more. Benchmark remains the separate route for searching that court's cases and schedule information.

Reading a Court Setting

A court setting is simply a scheduled event in a case. That could be an arraignment, hearing, conference, trial, sentencing, or another procedural step. The label alone does not show the whole case record. Nor does it settle the final outcome. Weigh the setting against the latest order and the court handling the case.

DateThe calendar day for the listed event. Confirm it after a reset or continuance.
TimeThe start time shown for the call or individual setting; jury activity can have a separate time.
Courtroom or judgeThe court assignment that tells a reader which local calendar and contact line applies.
Case numberThe identifier used to match a calendar row to the correct docket.
Setting typeThe procedural label, such as arraignment, motion hearing, change of plea, sentencing, or jury trial.

For Medina Municipal results, Benchmark says schedule information appears for upcoming cases. It also warns that sentencing information stays tentative until final sentence is imposed. So treat a displayed sentence as unconfirmed until the court acts.

Medina County Wadsworth Court Pattern

The Wadsworth Municipal Court schedule lays out a weekly pattern. The court warns it can change. Arraignments for traffic and criminal matters are set Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. The time is 8:30 a.m. Sentencings run Monday and Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. Jury trials for traffic and criminal cases land on Tuesday and Thursday. Civil matters take Friday. Wadsworth also keeps extended civil hours until 8 p.m. on the third Wednesday when needed.

Treat this pattern as a rough guide. It cannot confirm the date of your own case. Run a docket search first. Then call the Clerk at 330-335-1596 to pin down a specific setting.

Medina County Brunswick Court Date

Brunswick Mayor's Court meets Tuesday at 5:15 p.m. Your first date is printed on the bottom-right corner of the citation. The docket search includes Court Date and Date of Offense controls, which help separate an upcoming hearing from the date of the alleged offense.

Some tickets can be waived. Pay one in full by its date and you need not appear. A non-waiverable matter, or any question, goes to the Brunswick clerk at 330-558-6870. If you pay online, do it at least 24 hours before the scheduled appearance. Remember that Brunswick's weekly Mayor's Court calendar stands apart from Medina Municipal and Common Pleas.

Resets, Continuances, and Cancellations

A continuance moves a hearing, but the old date often stays in the docket history. Trust the most recent hearing entry or order, not an earlier event. A motion hearing alone does not end a case. A change-of-plea or sentencing label can still be followed by more court action.

Wadsworth requires a written continuance request filed before the hearing date. Send it by fax to 330-335-2723 or email courts@wadsworthcity.org. The judge rules on the request. A new appearance notice is mailed if it is granted. Both sides agreeing does not by itself establish good cause under the local rules.

Medina County Court Reset Checks

When two dates seem to clash, work through a confirmation ladder. Start by rechecking the court level and the case number. Then open the current local portal. Compare a published schedule next. Call the courtroom or clerk, and use the counter for a specific record request. Older Common Pleas material falls back to the Clerk Archives.

A portal that has not updated does not mean a hearing was cancelled. Probate and Juvenile warns that its online docket information is not real time. Postal Service docket activity can take up to 14 days to appear. One direct call to the court closes that gap. It beats an old saved calendar view.

What To Do If You Miss a Setting

Missed a setting? Contact the court that handled the case right away. When you call, have the case number, the court name, and the date from the latest record in front of you. What happens next depends on the case type and any court order, so a calendar entry alone cannot tell you what the court will require.

Act through the handling court. Call the court or courtroom administrator promptly, ask for the current setting and any filing instructions, and do not assume an earlier portal date remains active. A Wadsworth continuance must be requested in writing before the date, and a Brunswick non-waiverable matter should be taken to the Mayor's Court clerk.

For Common Pleas, use the direct line for Court 3A or Court 3B, whichever matches the case. Medina Municipal takes calls at 330-723-3287. Wadsworth is 330-335-1596, and Brunswick is 330-558-6870. The court, never a calendar snapshot, sets the next required step.

Medina County Probate Docket Delay

Medina Probate and Juvenile Court's online-docket page explains which cases can be searched and adds a caution: the information is not real time. Docket activity sent by mail may take 14 days to show up online. Probate searches accept a party name or a case number such as 2023-01-ES-00000.

That delay notice is a prompt to confirm any recent Probate setting with the court directly. The online docket is a lookup tool, not a complete real-time calendar.
